Butcher - Day Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and butcher various cuts of meat to customer specifications
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with regulations
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of meat products
• Assist with training and mentoring junior team members
• Maintain equipment and work areas in excellent condition

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a butcher in a commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and different cuts
• Food safety certificate (Level 2 or above) preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work early morning shifts (starting times vary)
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
• Team player with good communication skills
